Thanks to double digital growth in passengers carried by twenty-two airlines including AirAsia X, Malindo Air, China Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Royal Jordanian, Shanghai Airlines and Xiamen Airlines, in 2017 KLIA and klia2 recorded combined passenger growth of 11.2% taking total passenger numbers to 58.5m. As a result KLIA-klia2 is now one of the fastest growing airports in South East Asia.
